Hey peeps, I understand especially for the NUS boys and the only SMU boy that exams are around the corner for you guys. To be exact, around 2-3 weeks time before it finally ends.
After this coming saturday's friendly game (6th Nov), it will be optional for the guys who have upcoming exams to turn up for games on the following 2 saturdays (13th, 20th). Friendly games should still be arranged during that period considering that we have such a huge squad so do feel free to join us should you feel that a break is needed from the stressful mugging that you are going through.
Similarly for the NTU boys, as the espzen season kicks off on the 11th of Dec, i hope that we will all try to plan our study schedule around that date and still make it for that game. The entire team will then rest for the following 2 saturdays (18th, 25th cause of christmas) before we resume league duties on the 1st of Jan.
The reason why we are not stopping footie during the NUS & SMU exams is because we are still undergoing pre-season which isnt as important as the league itself. That is why i decided not to plan a rest date during the exam period in november.
For the rest who are in SIM or have work commitments, the same rule applies. As long as you guys know of any upcoming dates whereby you will not be able to come for games, just try to let me know in advance. I have taken note of those who have already informed me of your likely absence in the upcoming weeks.
