Time: Be there by 2.30 PM
(It is polling day. So get your polling duties settled earlier in the morning and do take into account waiting time for polling and etc. Also make sure that you have ample time to travel and arrive at the field early boys)
Opponents: Fake Madrid FC (Current Position: 3rd)
Venue: St Wilfred Complex (Astro)
[Link to venue: http://www.espzen.com/pitches.asp?pitch=79]
Attire: Yellow Top, Black Shorts and Black Socks
Due to circumstances as stated on our facebook group, El Clasico Numero Dos has been brought forward 2 saturdays in advance to make this saturday an important day for both the nation (GE) and also for SUFI FC. Our hopes of a title assault hang in the balance and nothing less than a herculean effort from the team would be necessary to obtain a positive result against the Persians of our division.
Being there early would be a good start. Do note that it would be a huge field and the turf is likely to favour FMFC's style of play. The odds are stacked up against us but we can at least take heart in the current position we find ourselves in. Time to bring your 'A' game lads. Till sat..
P.S: Also take note that a friendly match has been arranged for the team next week (for the working lads and the free-from-exam boys). The venue for our final game against Arizen on the 21st of May has been changed to Tampines Sec (astro). And for the non-east siders, no fears about having to travel much for these couple of games as I will speak to the organizer to allow a good rotation of venues around the island for the coming season. Appreciate your understanding. Check out the schedule column for the latest updates! Cheers!
