D2D Sat 3pm League Weekly Round-Up

OPOD News Center - League leaders VNPNUS were undone for a second match in a row, the defeat this time coming at the hands of Zespol FC, throwing the Div 1 championship race wide open. The narrow 2-1 victory moved Zespol FC to within 1 point of VNPNUS with both teams having played 8 league matches.

Tour D'France and Swee Swee 1 FC both capitalized on VNPNUS's defeat with big wins over AJPL and Mavericks FC respectively. Tour D'France stands 3rd, level on points with Zespol but have a better goal difference. Swee Swee 1 maintained their 2nd place position but have a game in hand on VNPNUS and will move 3 points clear of them if they can win their game in hand.

YSOSRS extended their unbeaten run to 6 games and remained top of the table with 16 points from 6 games after their emphatic 5-2 victory over Serangoon United.

Kamago'z moved to second place after defeating Hooyah FC 2-1, with Team Goat suffering a 3-1 loss to Naranja AFC (formerly Team Orange). Elsewhere, Thunderveluboomqiesi moved out of the bottom 3 with a 4-1 thrashing of whipping boys Sons of Selarang.
