As announced at the game today, the player of the month for May is.... JUFRI!
Just a short comment on the player, he has amazed me from the very 1st game that he featured for the team. Having played in all 9 games in the short history of the team, he is very much part of the 'pioneering' players of the team.
His goal scoring record is astounding as well, 12 goals in those 9 games with countless crucial ones during the league. The man was very much a stranger to most at the start, however the seamless integration into the group and his popularity amongst the boys is enough evidence of his influence in the dressing room. The crowning factor though, is his commitment. Working either before or after matches on saturdays, Juf is almost always one of the 1st guys at the match venue, preparing himself mentally for another goal hurl. Your professionalism despite us just being a social team is amazing. It is a real honour to have the luxury of playing with a player of such class and commitment. Kudos to you dude and we will all work hard together to win the gold for the team. Cheers!
