Player Of The Month For June!

A quick glance at the team's performance in the month of June saw 2 wins and a humbling defeat to fellow title challengers, Team Goat. However, a stunning 3-2 victory over Coca Cola leaves the guys optimistic and daring to dream. One single player has stood out during this period with his excellent performances in all 3 games and also top notch commitment.

Wong scored a goal a game in all 3 games which included a bewitching run from inside our own half that subsequently left 4 men for dead coupled with a tentalising finish to match against fellow title contenders, Coca Cola SSC. That goal certainly ranks up there as one of the best goals of the season so far...

Thus, the player for the month for June is....... our diminutive speed demon, WONG!

Personal Comment on the player:

Quality performances in all 3 games in June was shown by Wong. 3 goals in 3 games at any level, is a mark of a quality player who is in form. Furthermore, the fact that he is constantly at game venues on time and well prepared before kick-off is testament to his professionalism. Having gradually established himself as a vital cog in the team, the team could have done without the player having to leave on a long holiday. However, hopefully the holiday has a desired effect on the man and he returns refreshed and ready to plummet the defenses of our opponents. It is a honour having you in the team and we await your return dude. Let us all applaud Wong before we start our dissing of the man again.
