OPOD News Center - Still smarting from a debut defeat last weekend against Schwarz Star FC, AJPL faces last season's champions Mavericks FC in what is likely a nightmarish tie for them.
Led by manager Soh Say Kuan, AJPL is a young bunch of players perhaps lacking in experience but definitely full of potential and will do well to take the match against the reigning champions as a good footballing lesson.
In Div 2, YSOSRS looks to extend their winning start to the season as they take on Thunderveluboomqiesi who sits bottom of the table after shockingly conceding a walkover in their debut match. Coca-cola takes on Hooyah FC and both teams have made unbeaten starts to the season thus far; something which they will be striving to maintain this weekend.
