OPOD News Center - Vietnamese team VNPNUS went top of Division 1 after notching their 3rd consecutive league win in an impressive start to the new season. It proved to be a torrid start to league football for Star CF as they succumbed meekly to the physical ways of VNPNUS and ended on the wrong end of a 7-0 thrashing.

Mavericks FC got off to the worst possible start for the season losing 4-1 to AJPL as they look to restart their engines after winning the title last season with relative ease. Tour D'France and Swee Swee 1 FC also won their respective games to move 3rd and 4th on the league table.

Division 2: Coke leads the way

YSOSRS played out an exciting 2-2 draw with Thunderveluboomquesi. YSOSRS had taken the lead against the run of play, only to concede 2 in the 2nd half due to complacency and lucklessness. Credit to YSOSRS for not giving up and eventually conjured up an equalizer 2 minutes from time for a share of the spoils.

Elsewhere, Serangoon United opened their league campaign with a 3-3 draw against Kamago'z while Team Orange found their first win with a 4-2 defeat over bottom of the table Sons of Selarang.
